We’ve established #team18 as a way for us to support riders who we think can tell a story, rather than just race results. You can see our story on our 1st “signing” – Emma Peasland – on the news story here.
Next up, is Grant Hill. We’ve known Grant for a long time, since before he moved to Sheffield and have got to know him even more since. He’s never really been the super competitive type – more one to push himself for long distance rides and events.
We’d noticed somewhat of a change in Grant this summer – with social media posts suggesting scary words like planning and training. A quick natter confirmed that we wanted him on the #team18 programme, so here we go!
Grant’s plans for 2017 are still mainly distance cross bike events, such as
- Lakeland Monster Cross
- Clif Cross
- Dirt Reiver
- Yorkshire True Grit
- Moors and Shores
- Peak District Pioneer
- 3 Peaks Cyclocross?
You can follow Grant’s progress via his blog here, although we’ll aim to repost his race/ride reports where possible.
He’s on twitter over here too.
